Breeze Airways Adds New Cities and Expands Route Network

Airline Announces Tallahassee and Birmingham as New Destinations

Breeze Airways has announced the addition of two new cities to its growing network, continuing its strategy of expanding affordable nonstop flights across underserved markets. The airline will begin service to Tallahassee, Florida, and Birmingham, Alabama, in early July 2026.

Flights between Tallahassee and Fort Lauderdale, Florida, as well as Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, will launch on July 2. One day later, on July 3, Breeze will begin operating routes connecting Birmingham with Fort Lauderdale and Raleigh-Durham.

The new cities will help Breeze to achieve its expansion goals which will help the airline to expand its operations in the southeastern United States. The airline wants to create additional direct flight services for its passengers who struggle to find nonstop flights to their desired destinations.

Focus on Expanding Florida Connectivity

In addition to adding new destinations, Breeze Airways is launching several new routes across its network, with a strong focus on improving connectivity to and within Florida. Florida remains one of the airline’s key markets due to its high travel demand and popularity among leisure travelers. These routes are designed to offer convenient point-to-point travel without requiring passengers to connect through large hub airports.

Breeze Strengthens Underserved Market Strategy

Since its launch, Breeze Airways has focused on connecting smaller and underserved cities that typically have limited nonstop flight options. This strategy allows travelers to save time by avoiding connections and long airport layovers.

Breeze founder and CEO David Neeleman said the airline is committed to improving travel convenience for passengers. He explained that Breeze has spent nearly five years building routes that connect underserved communities with affordable nonstop service.

According to Neeleman, the airline’s latest expansion will allow more travelers to avoid unnecessary connections and reach their destinations faster. This approach has helped Breeze grow steadily while building a strong presence in secondary and mid-sized markets.

Increased Flight Frequencies on Existing Routes

Along with adding new routes, Breeze Airways is also increasing flight frequencies on several existing routes. This means passengers will have more flight options and improved flexibility when planning their travel.

Increasing frequencies is an important step as it allows the airline to meet growing passenger demand and improve overall service reliability. The airline’s use of modern and fuel-efficient aircraft, including the Airbus A220, also helps reduce operating costs while improving passenger comfort.

Tickets Now Available for Booking

Breeze Airways has confirmed that tickets for all new and expanded routes are now available for booking. Travelers can begin purchasing flights immediately for services starting in early July.

The airline’s continued expansion reflects strong demand for affordable, nonstop air travel across the United States. By focusing on underserved routes and avoiding crowded hubs, Breeze is positioning itself as a convenient and cost-effective option for many travelers.

As Breeze continues to grow, the airline is expected to announce additional routes and destinations in the future, further strengthening its network and competitive position in the U.S. aviation market.
