New Austin–Phoenix Route Launching in November
Delta Air Lines Continuing its fast-growth trajectory in Austin, Texas, Delta Air Lines announced on Wednesday a new nonstop route and extension of an existing seasonal service. Known for being one of the fastest-growing carriers in the US, the airline announced a new route —Austin to Phoenix— starting November 9.

Austin will receive its first direct flight to Arizona through Delta’s new service. The airline already provides service to destinations near Las Vegas but the Phoenix route helps the airline expand its network while strengthening its foothold in the southwestern United States.
Bozeman Service Extended into Winter Season
Delta Airways introduced a new route to Phoenix while announcing its service expansion to Bozeman Montana through its Austin airport. The service started as a summer seasonal route but the airline decided to extend operations through winter months to accommodate higher customer demand.
The Austin to Bozeman flight service will begin on June 13 and continue its weekly operation on Saturdays throughout the summer period. Delta has established a daily operation schedule for the route which will operate from December 19 to March 28, 2027 to meet Montana’s winter travel peak and ski season schedule.
The Bozeman service will operate through Delta Connection with the same aircraft model as the Phoenix route which uses the Embraer E175. The extension will enable travelers to access Montana’s most famous ski areas and winter tourist attractions.

United’s wider expansion plans for Austin, include new service from there to Asheville, N.C.; Columbus, Ohio; Kalispell, Mont.; and Kansas City. With the 23 new routes, Delta will serve more than 30 destinations from Austin by year’s end, significantly upping the connectivity for travelers in the region. increasing connectivity for travelers to the region by a large margin.
Enhancing Connectivity Across the West

The new developments allow Delta to become a significant competitor in Austin’s aviation market because it provides passengers with additional flight options and better travel connections.
